Keeping Fit – YMCA East Surrey’s Walking for Health Programme

Would you like to become more active, improve your health and meet new people? East Surrey Walking for Health offers free, friendly walks throughout the year giving you the opportunity to explore your local area.

Walking is a great way to improve your health without being too demanding. YMCA East Surrey’s programme of local and regular walks is a great way of exercising whilst meeting new people and exploring the countryside.

There is no charge and no commitment. You just turn up for one of their walks when you feel like it. There is a weekly programme of walks that can be found on the YMCA’s website: https://www.ymcaeastsurrey.org.uk/health-wellbeing/health-walks

The Coal Tax Walk Group led by Joan Townend

There are a range of walks throughout East Surrey from Lingfield to Reigate and Horley to Caterham. Full details can be found on the YMCA’s website: https://www.ymcaeastsurrey.org.uk/health-wellbeing/health-walks/walk-timetable/
The YMCA is also looking for volunteers to lead or assist with their walks in our part of the Borough. Full training is provided and if you want to find out more email their walks coordinator, Julie Haslett at julie.haslett@ymcaeastsurrey.org.uk
