The programme included two visits to The Old Pheasantry rural education centre and a week of community and wellbeing themes.
45 children took part in a First Aid Course for children run by Daisy First Aid. This included how to deal with an emergency, procedures for assessing a situation, applying CPR (resuscitation), using a defibrillator, dealing with chocking and bandaging a bleeding wound.

Children also supported the community by carrying out a litter pick in the area and delivering leaflets about the Preston Community Event to local homes.

The visits to The Old Pheasantry provided the children with a nature walk across Colley Hill to observe a variety of wildlife including kestrels, rabbits and a wide range of butterflies as well as fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.
