News and tips from our local trainers by Caroline Baldock

My apologies to all my followers and fans, my February column was a bit late for the press. Here are the selections for this month.
Watch out for Adam West’s Run Joy Run, came third last time out always a worth watching when he next runs.
Michael Attwater has had a very good February, Cabeza De Liave won at Chelmsford and My Turn Now won at Wolverhampton. They will certainly come out again with good results. Watch out for H Kay Lails, who was second at Chelmsford. I also fancy Thismydream and I am Mable.
Pat Phelan had a winner with Epsom Faithful in January, Star of Epsom
Brett Johnson, trains Merry Minister watch out for him he has won and looks to be in good form like to run close together. He must need the race. Stopandsearch is another one of Brett’s and Dembe. They have both run close and should win soon.
Simon Dow never gives up, what a trooper he is. He had two winners Rey De La Batalla, and Rabinal, Watch out for Artician and Hul Al Bah Loo. They both look like real hopefuls.
Do follow Roger Ingram’s Dicko The Legend, he is being cared for by Roger’s wonderful jockey daughter, what a talent she is, and looks very hopeful of repeating his win in December. He was second last time out in January.

Dicko The Legend
Lee Carter has two very nice horses is Repartee and Irrelevant, both have placed and look to go on this month.
So good luck and don’t forget the Spring Meeting at Epsom Downs Tuesday 23rd April. See you all there.
