Cllr Frank Kelly, Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, visited Tattenham Corner last Monday, the 25th July to view the Summer Fun activity at Tattenham Community Library and to dedicate our new flagpole.

The Mayor first visited the library to meet the children taking part in the first Summer Fun activities being organised during the school holidays.

A programme of activities is available free of charge for children aged 5 to 11. Full details can be obtained from the library.

He then visited the new flagpole that has been provided by TPRA and the Tattenham & Preston Community Group to commemorate H M Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee and also as a community centre-point for the area. Following prayer of dedication from Rev. Des Williamson, the Mayor raised the union flag.
